The cost aspect is what usually swings it, after all a refill that will fill multiple cartridges can be bought for a couple of pounds. If you manage this procedure the first time without spilling ink all over the desk, you've probably not got the liquid into the right chamber. You see these days, many ink cartridges not only contain the ink, they also contain most of the mechanics of the printer head, and these can't be replaced easily - they're essentially disposable. So refilling is fine but you can't do it forever, eventually the heads will fail and clog up (especially if using the really cheap stuff) and you'll have to buy new anyway.
Although this sounds like a pretty downbeat view on these kits, you have to look at the pros as well as the cons and there are some pretty compelling reasons, besides price, why someone would look to refill rather than buy new. Putting economics to one side, refilling ink could be seen as an extremely good thing for the economy - one less plastic box with its toxic remnants is a good thing. Plastics can take hundreds of years to degrade and so doing our bit and refilling can help our pocket, at the environment. So, what to choose?
Well, I have my own personal idea and it's this: If your printer is relatively inexpensive (i.e. the cost of ink is close to or more than the cost of a new printer) then consider refilling - you have nothing to lose and you may save quite a bit of money. If, on the other hand, you have an expensive printer that you really can't do without then consider buying new. The Staedtler Company has been manufacturing pencils for over 170 years.

Some of them will be offering salvation, others to take your money off you but what they all have in common is that each one offers another 'choice'.
Whether you read blogs, view videos or download music, there is so much choice available that it becomes difficult to choose which is best for your particular need. Let's take just one example, the car insurance industry. There are thousands of websites offering to get your premium down and reduce the cost of motoring, in fact, there are so many that a whole new industry sprung up that will allow you to compare all these sites to find the best fit for you.

Well, as far as I know there are no 'office supplies' comparison site (again, I'm being lazy - I'll pop that in Google later and check), but whatever, that misses the point. All these comparison sites and the myriad shopping list sites can do is to base their 'best' on price and price only.
Yes, some of them have reviews, but can you really trust the review of a person on a site that can't be verified? No, you can't. It could be someone with a vendetta. Now, this is a bad book by any standard. Truly, it's awful, really quite embarrassing yet it gets mostly five stars and some fantastic - spoof - reviews.
If it can happen here, it can happen anywhere and so we're left with only price. The only thing a comparison website can possibly compare is price with any accuracy - and price isn't near enough.
